Medicine Shields

These Sacred Shields are made to order, as the “medicine” comes through uniquely for each person.  They start with Deer or Elk Hide stretched and stitched around the hoop of life symbolizing our connection to all things; human, animal, earth, sky and universe.  Carrie prays with the hoop receiving guidance for symbolic elements which then translate into the design.  Visions are often related to an area where one may be seeking strength, protection or clarity of spirit.
